American Sign Language is the most used form of communication amongst Deaf and Hard of hearing individuals around the world. With our online ASL classes, we will set you up to become a more effective communicator and employee.

WHAT WILL I LEARN IN THIS COURSE?
During our online ASL course, we will walk you through the basics of ASL. These topics include but are not limited to:
- Easy Signs: Driving a car, swimming, eating, food, gender…
- Sign Language Alphabet (Manual Alphabet): Learn an alternative to the English alphabet, this language has a sign for every letter in the alphabet
- Numbers
- Times of Day: Phrases such as “good morning”
- Pronouns: Personal " Possessive and reflexive

Q. Can I learn ASL by myself?
A. Learning ASL is not something that can be mastered individually. You’ll need specialized knowledge and training to start having effective ASL interactions.
Q. Is learning ASL difficult?
A. ASL has its own set of grammar and syntactic rules, just like any other spoken language. It can take around 12 months to grasp general signs for basic conversation and sign them proficiently.
Q. How long would it take to master ASL entirely?
A. Gaining sign language proficiency would require between 3 to 36 months of consistent learning and practice.
